This was a walk I took in Eagle Rock with a meet-up group. We met at the corner of Eagle Rock Blvd and Colorado Blvd. and walked south on Eagle Rock Blvd. and then came north and walked east on Colorado Blvd. Eagle Rock is an area of Los Angeles that is located near Pasadena, CA. Eagle Rock is named after a large rock outcropping, resembling an eagle with its wings outstretched. The land was part of the Rancho San Rafael under Spanish and Mexican governorship. It was divided into parcels in 1870. It became a city in 1911 and joined Los Angeles in 1923.

Christmas lights at Dana Point

A friend of mine asked me if I would like to go and look at Christmas lights at Dana Point Harbor. Mari and I go walking at Dana Point Harbor and we had seen them putting up white lights one time when we were there walking, but I had no idea what I was going to see. This is definitely worth the time to go see if you are in the Southern California area.
